          Q1: Does the chain have to be connected to the gutters? I don't have gutter on the little play house where I want to place them.

          A: The rain chain can be hung without a gutter but in order to function the way that it is meant to, it should be clipped to a gutter.

          Q2: Does it come with a hanger?

          A: It comes with an attachment piece that is designed to sit in the rain gutter over the drain hole.
