Designed with seven stones aligned in an ascending column in the center of the chime that represent the seven chakras aligned along the human spine, the Woodstock Seven Stones Chakra 17.5 Inch Wind Chime is a beautiful combination of sound and color. With six silver tubes finished with anodized aluminum that does not rust, and black finish ash wood, this wind chime is a beautiful addition to any home.


Woodstock Percussion Wind Chimes are tuned using a computerized tuning process in order to achieve incomparably beautiful sound. These wind chimes also use an ancient tuning system known as just intonation. Because these notes fall between the notes of a piano (which is tuned using the modern equal temperament system), the chime has a unique, authentic quality. The frequencies at which the different tubes vibrate are integrally related, thus producing the purest musical intervals. Once you hear the beautiful tones created by these magical chimes, you will understand why they are so popular around the world.


Wind Chime Length: The length of a wind chime is measured by the overall length of the chime (not tube length) - hanging hook to the end of the sail. This wind chime is 17.5 inches long overall. Hanger not included.

    I love the sound and the length of this wind chime. We bought a slightly larger one before this one and it felt like an obstruction to the path that leads to our door. This one is small but just the right size. As with many wind chimes, I noticed the strings are not long lasting or easily replaceable so you may have to replace this otherwise wonderful wind chime in a few years depending on the weathering the strings are exposed to. I will be getting $10 on a purchase of $100 for writing this review.

    Hung the chimes on back patio, about 15-20 feet from doors and windows. Wanted a higher-pitched chime to complement a larger, deeper-toned chimed we were also getting. Sound is really pleasant. Appearance is pretty and classy-looking. Be aware that the 17.5 inch measurement is from the top of the hanger to the bottom of the wind-catching disk. So if it isn't windy (so you hear it), you won't notice the chimes as you approach the house. Visual impact isn't dramatic in an open outdoor space.

      What's not to love about this beautiful windchime?
      This chime is really different. The first one I got while Christmas shopping when the pretty stones caught my eye, so I bought it for my sister.
      Bought the second one here at Hayneedle as I could not find another in any of the stores. I gave two of these as Christmas gifts and had one here in my bedrooom before I wrapped it, hanging from the light/fan above my bed. Everytime I wrapped gifts, my head would bump the windchime and I realized that it reminded me to stay calm and balanced, simply because it was a chakra windchime that my mind now associated with inner peace and balance. Very nice sound and a great gift. Hayneedle is wonderful to do business with, prompt and nice on the phone as well.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
