    When I first put it up I was afraid our winds might be too strong. But it works like a charm. It turns in the slightest breeze & in the strongest winds, even a tropical storm! The sun glinting off of it seems to light it up. The 17 in. was just the right size to be seen from a distance.

    I love this unique design. However, the two pieces are designed to spin in opposite directions, because the curve of the metal of the outer piece is the opposite of the curve of the metal of the inner piece. That does not happen; they both spin in the same direction pretty much in unison. I wonder if this is a problem with the swivel mechanism. The ones that spin in opposite directions as they are designed to do are absolutely hypnotic!

          We put this spinner up as soon as it came out of the box. Spins with a whisper of breeze. We can't stop staring at it. We did as suggested and coated it with car wax to keep it clean. Seems to be working so far.
